Dr. Jane Goodall, the legendary English primatologist, is planting five million trees within just one year. Her drive: believing in the power of each person doing their part to make the world better.
“Now is the time for everyone on the planet to do their part,” highlights Dr. Goodall, who has worked with chimpanzees for 55 years and has recently shifted her focus on the environment.
The World Bank estimates that, starting three decades ago, the equivalent of 1,000 football fields of forest is lost every hour. In response, the Jane Goodall Institute founder has partnered with the United Nations Environment Programme to help the group with their 1 Trillion Trees Campaign, by either reforesting or restoring trees.
