Society USAInnovation Fund Continues Global Development Work as Independent Nonprofit
In the United States, a former USAID innovation programme has relaunched as an independent nonprofit with $48 million in philanthropic backing, enabling its global development work to continue supporting solutions that improve lives.
“We are resolved and optimistic about continuing this work and supporting innovation that can make a difference,” said leaders involved in the new DIV Fund initiative.
The organisation builds on the former Development Innovation Ventures programme, which supported evidence-based projects across sectors such as health, poverty reduction, and economic opportunity, with the new funding helping sustain operations and preserve expertise while continuing to support partners working on scalable solutions in multiple countries.
