Feminine Hygiene Products Are Now Free in This Country!

In Scotland, United Kingdom, feminine hygiene products are now available for free – a political decision that is fundamental to equality and dignity.

“We are proud to be the first national government to take such as step,” says Scottish Social Justice Minister Shona Robinson.

The legislation was passed in 2020 and adopted unanimously. Now, it comes into force: city governments and educational institutions alike will be required to offer free menstrual items. What’s more, feminine hygiene products will now be accessible in all public buildings.
