Power Ladies Now Run Finland, Their Boss Is the Youngest in the World

Finland’s newest prime minister will also be the world’s youngest, with the leaders in her center-left coalition all female – four of whom are under 35 years old.

Alexander Stubb, former prime minister, tweeted in celebration of the new coalition, “My party is not in government, but I rejoice that the leaders of the five parties in government are female. Shows that Finland is a modern and progressive country.”

Sanna Marin, 34, won the prime minister vote through her Social Democratic party, and will be the country’s third female government leader. Her coalition parties’ leaders are Katri Kulmuni, Maria Ohisalo, Li Andersson and Anna-Maja Henriksson.
