Society PakistanPakistan Sees a Significant Drop in Terrorism in 2019
A study has found that terrorism-related fatalities in Pakistan was reduced by nearly 31% in 2019, in part thanks to the arrest of terrorists from various groups during the past year.
The annual report, released by the Center for Research and Security Studies, showed a 30.71% drop in deaths caused by terrorism and the fight against it. This meant a reduction of more than 300 fatalities in comparison with 2018’s toll of 980.
One of the most significant findings highlighted 2019 as the first year since 2004 where there have been no drone attacks.
