The roof of an environmentally friendly waste-to-energy plant in Copenhagen, Denmark has been transformed to an urban mountain, boasting a 450-metre-long artificial ski slope with “magic carpets” that transport skiers to the top.
Urban farming company Agripolis is working with Cultures en Ville in developing the world’s largest urban rooftop farm, located in the capital of France, centering on biodiversity and maintaining a low carbon footprint.
