Bill Got the Coronavirus at the Age of 103 – and Celebrated Full Recovery at 104!

A 104-year-old man from the U.S. state of Oregon is the oldest known person to recover from COVID-19, the novel coronavirus disease.

Bill Lapschies fell ill in early March, after being infected in the state-run veteran facility he lives in. He battled out fever and pneumonia, and on April 1st, he celebrated his birthday.

“He is very perky”, says his daughter Carolee Brown.
