Impossible Foods, a company known for its plant-based beef, has recently unveiled a new meat alternative to look out for: the vegan Impossible Pork.
The company announced its newest product on January 7th in Las Vegas, USA, at the annual Consumer Electronics Show. Their plant-based pork is meant to taste exactly like the animal version, and follows similar ingredients to its famous Impossible Beef product.
A Forbes reporter who tried the plant-based ground meat-style product says he can “confirm that Impossible Pork tastes like pork” and that it was “delicious.”
“Our mission is to completely replace animals in the food system by 2035, and expanding our impact globally is a critical part of that,” says founder and CEO Pat Brown. “It’s also an amazingly delicious product that consumers around the world who love dishes that are traditionally made with pork will finally be able to serve to their families without the catastrophic environmental impact.”
