Heroes DubaiThis Painting Is the Size of Two Football Fields – and Will Raise Millions for Charity
With his canvas painting “The Journey to Humanity”, the largest in the world displayed in Dubai, Sacha Jafri hopes to raise 30 million USD for charity.
“My painting, “The Journey of Humanity” will support the delivery of improved education and connectivity,” says the contemporary British artist. “It will also raise funds to support the poorest and most deprived regions in order to help children and families around the world.”
The giant artwork, which is the size of two football fields, is part of a larger project entitled “Humanity Inspired” which aims at funding health and education for children living in the poorest parts of the world but also to connect 1 billion people through art. The creation will include works submitted online by children from around the globe and is set to be revealed in November 2020.
