Twibber Stories GermanyWhy this Twibber Wants to Make more Compliments from now on
What makes my life better? This week it was lunch with my friend Ines. We know each other for 15 years, but don’t meet very often. As we share the same profession, we usually talk about business topics.
So I was even more surprised when during our meal Ines suddenly raised her glass and said: „Since our first meeting I knew that you are a warm-hearted person, you are great.“ At first I felt a bit embarrassed and shy, not having expected such a nice compliment. Even more, from another woman! Back at home, I thought: Why don’t we pay each other compliments much more often? Even more in coronavirus times when we can’t just hug our friends. Ines’ little remark had made me feel good.
The next day I went to a café and the waitress was busy and stressed. She wore a beautiful traditional dirndl dress. Spontaneously I complimented her on her dress. First, she looked puzzled, then she gave me a big smile and said: „You made my day.“ I felt happy. Being kind to each other is true happiness.
