Real estate from 3D printers makes the world better: Initiatives around the world are using cutting-edge technology to construct sustainable 3D-printed homes, for faster and cheaper housing that benefits the community as well as the environment!

American startup ICON, who recently partnered with New Story on a 3D-printed housing project in Latin America, is now working with Mobile Loaves & Fishes – a nonprofit accommodating Austin’s chronically homeless population in a 51-acre development of RVs and tiny houses – to add 3D-printed cottages to the village, with a plan to print six houses this year.

Many other companies, in the United States and around the world, are working on similar eco-friendly 3D-printing projects to tackle climate issues, challenge high real estate prices, or to simply create a more efficient way to build homes.
