She is used to dwelling in palaces and often wears a little crown to parties. But in corona times, Princess Sofia of Sweden works in a hospital in Stockholm: The mother of two cleans, disinfects and helps out in the kitchen to relieve nurses and doctors.
Sofia married Prince Carl, the only son of King Karl and Queen Sylvia, in 2015. Before joining the volunteer group for non-medical work, she took classes online.
For her hospital duties, the princess wears green scrubs, a ponytail – and a name tag simply saying “Sofia”.
