Now You Can Stay Home and “Go” to a Famous Museum at the Same Time

Google Arts and Culture has partnered with over 2,000 museums and galleries from around 80 countries to bring art to our homes through its online platform – a perk especially convenient amidst the international lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The platform is available on the website as well as on phone apps for free, and offers online displays as well as virtual tours of museums and collections.

To bring the project to life, Google partnered with some of the most prestigious institutions in the world, including the British Museum in London, England, the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, France and the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
