Free Shoes for Nurses and Doctors, so They Can Stand up to Coronavirus

A shoe manufacturing giant is donating 10,000 of their comfortable shoes a day to healthcare workers in the United States to help them fight through the novel coronavirus pandemic.

“Over the past week, we have spoken to healthcare workers, their facilities and even their family and friends, and they have specifically asked for our shoes in an effort to provide ease on their feet, as well as ease of mind as they need the ability to easily clean up before they go home to their families,” says Andrew Rees, CEO of shoe company Crocs.

The shoes are made from waterproof material in that is easy to wash. The company is not only donating and delivering its shipments to medical facilities, but it is also offering healthcare workers the opportunity to sign up for the free shoes as long as supplies last.
