EnvironmentTechnology South KoreaThree Test-Cities in Korea Launch Hydrogen-Powered Societies
South Korea will turn three towns into test cities that use hydrogen as the fuel for cooling, heating, electricity and transportation, by 2022.
The nation is on a mission to build the first hydrogen-powered society. The first three cities, yet to be announced, will see hydrogen-powered private and public vehicles, and include hydrogen charging stations in bus stations and parking spaces.
The nation aims to power 30% of its cities by hydrogen over the next two decades, as part of a worldwide effort to limit global warming with cleaner fuel and green technology.
