English Teacher’s Online Lessons Are so Good, She Now Has 28,000 Students (and Counting….)

Teacher Holly King-Mand had quit her job at a school in England’s Bedforshire after becoming a mom to her second daughter. When the coronavirus epidemic came, she went on Facebook – just to help out pupils with home schooling. 

“I  was so proud to have 74 followers last week”, she tells the BBC – but now 28,000 students from all around the world follow her lessons on Shakespeare and spelling. 

The kids can follow her live and interact. “I feel so privileged to be able to help other people”, says Mrs. King-Mand, “but I’m not getting any washing done and my phone is melting!”
