Summer in the city: as many of us now can work online, we decided to spend a few weeks in our old home town Berlin over the summer.

As the initiator of Coffee To Go Again I’m so delighted that more and more coffeeshops now accept their customer’s own tableware for drinks and also for meals. I also see more and more people who rely on reusable tableware during their lunch break.

I am a teacher and I am also working as a volunteer for the non-profit organization "Mary’s Meals", which provides meals to school children in 19 poor countries.

As a proud owner of four wonderful dogs (all got from animal shelters) my heart also goes out to other dogs. For about 15 years my association Lucky Dogs has rescued dogs from shelters and killing stations in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Roumania, Belarus, and other countries.

Even to those of us who have been used to working remotely since before the pandemic, the lockdown has created a big shift in our social lives.
